While Vol. II is certainly a celebration of the band’s collaborative show itself, it’s also a tribute to Largo, the beloved Los Angeles venue that first hosted them and is an essential hub of the city’s creative community. 

Sean and Sara recorded Vol. II in January of 2022. The siblings and their guests recorded the entire LP in just three days, decamping at the historic East West Studio in Los Angeles with producers David Boucher and Tyler Chester. While plotting the project, the pair had a deep roster of past Family Hour guests to choose from, a process that also contributed to song selection for the album.

“A lot of the strategy was marrying the songs to the guests that we wanted to be part of the record,” Sara says. “So we knew, for example, that Willie Watson was somebody who we wanted to have on the record because we have such a long history with him specifically. So we did the Jim and Jesse song ‘She Left Me Standing on the Mountain’ with Gabe Witcher and Willie, who are both part of the foundation of the Family Hour.”

Shipping

All orders over $100, signed covers, and box sets are shipped in whiplash or better boxes. We use bags unlimited mailers for all other vinyls. We NEVER use the 12x12x.5 mailers the college gotta sell to pay the credit card boys use.

We ship worldwide using DHL. It should takes 2-5 days to most countries. Reminder, DHL will charge you respective duties on the shipment.  We only seek to charge actual shipping cost. If you think it's too high, let us know.

Standard shipping is to US is free. If it's not, email us to ask why. It might be a mistake.

Need this in a hurry? Before 2PM, we offer same day UPS/Fedex 2 day shipping on Shipping for $12 to 99% of the US. We are based out of Seattle so 99% of shipments to WA/Oregon before 2PM will be in your hands in 2 days.  If you're within in Western Washington, most packages are received next business day.

In Even more of a hurry? UPS next day saver is $40 to most locations. 

Most ground packages to Nevada/Colorado, Norcal, Oregon, Idaho, and WA are 2-3 days 

Arizona is usually 3-4.

Returns accepted within 60 days for any reason as long as it's returned in it's original condition.
